Jade plants need pruning to stay healthy, promote growth, and preserve their shape. How to prune jade plants in 7 easy steps:

Jade plants should be pruned in spring or early summer, when they are actively growing. Avoid pruning in winter when the plant is dormant.

Choose the Right Time

Thin Out Dense Areas:

6

Give the plant a few days to acclimate after pruning. Water lightly and position in indirect sunshine. Prevent stress by not fertilizing after pruning.
